my drivers are installed correctly. the options are NOT blank and my vid card along with HAL shows in the drop down.
I played RO fine but now it shows this no matter which option I choose.
i really dont want to uninstall but ugh...
cannot init d3d or grf file has problem

Are you running windows vista or 7?
If so:
Are you running RO as admin?
Are you running the SETUP as admin when you select the graphics options?
If you're running vista or 7, you need to run both the game, and the setup program as admin in order for things to work.
