Is this a typo? Will a +8 Red Pirate Bandana give 35%? or will it still give 25%?

Deciding if its worthwhile to take the risk from +7 - +8

Hell if you have a ton of HD elu I'd say go for broke and get it to +9-10

+7 = 25%
+8 = 35%
+9 = 45%
+10 = 55%

I got mine to +8 for the 35% boost, but once I get some more HD Elu I'm getting that bad boy to +10.

Remember this won't last forever, I don't know about upgrading something that high and not being sure whether or not it loses the effect after a month.

I was wondering this too. The description is a bit hard to decipher...

Is +8 really 10% more, or do we need +9 to get another bonus? If it's the latter... Screw that!

It's a give an take yeah. We get the bonus to EXP until the 16th of June or whatever (which is laaame) So If you're planning on doing some serious leveling within the next month or so than I say get it as high as you feel safe getting it to and abuse the hell out of it (stack it with as much stuff as you can, lol).

+8 is in fact supposed to give +10% more on top of the 25% you get at +7 for a grand total of +35% exp boost

This is my understanding of how it works.


So far, i've used 77 HD elu and and it's still +7 (and at the end, I had to use an enriched to get it back to +7. </3 upgrade luck.

It does not.

Testing on Karakasas at level 140.
VIP, no boost: +114 / +129
VIP, +7 red pirate bandana: +142 / +160
VIP, +8 red pirate bandana: +153 / +174

So yes, +8 does give a bonus over +7. Also, I had better upgrading luck than someone else? Brb, checking if the universe is unraveling...

hey thats a nice idea! maybe someone like Wizard can just buy gravity and give everyone +20 equips. he seems to have the money to do it. (2 or 3 +14 GSoDs?) <.<
