Getting character art is art in itself. XD I've spend hours and hours just to get the correct amount of text for my oc, good reference-materials, working out on what needs to be there and what shouldn't be. Like if you have too much text, the artists will drown to it... but if you have too little, they don't know what they're drawing anymore. Then attempting to raise some inspiration and motivation with text only gets pretty damn difficult.
... and in the end the chara description still looks crappy and I feel ashamed every time I link it. lol.

S & M are actually my initials... Too bad I'm not really into that sort of thing, if the chat in this thread is any indication... 8D All that aside, so many sexy wimmenz ahhhhhhh! I'm even liking that RO/Requiem yuri crossover pic (sure I say I like it because of the lush colors and attention to all the pretty costume details, but I might be lying.)

I'm also glad I'm not the only one who thought the official Sorceror art and sprite looked a little pervy. I guess she's supposed to be wearing panties under that sheer dress, but I thought she was nude. Whoops. For that reason (and for the more tasteful and less gaudy neck ruff feather thing,) I think I like your version much better. And your MSpaint Stalker is lovely, particularly because of her edible cotton candy hair! :B

Its good to hear that my Monk was fun to draw! I'm not playing RO too much anymore, but for the record, if you ever play Ymir again I'd be happy to throw zeny at you in exchange for a drawing of one of my OCs. /fsh

and yeah, zeesh. the official 3rd class arts is overall very difficult to draw without becoming very... very. krhm. yeah. Purposefully half-naked. On another note!
You don't have to pay me, I like your charries (at least the Ro ones that I've seen, so I'm sure your oc's will be as much fun to draw). Just send their info to me (or write it here) and I'll try to get drawings done out of your OC's. ^^ I promise to give them clothes too.

Funny you should mention the art of writing character descriptions... I'm commissioned a lot of art, my descriptions are always freakishly long, and I worry that the artist is going to tune it all out. But I try to give them the freedom to improvise some details if its in the interest of making a more dramatic or eye-catching piece.

3rd class female sprites are so confusing, its like the designers couldn't decide between making them look tough and making them look sexy, and the result was that most of them got armor-kinis and look sort of punk-skanky. xD
