Yea, since PBs cause lag, which is typically most profound in the last few minutes of a battleground (because lots of people saved their PBs til then), remove them.
Keep the ability to go PB, the HC meter, and the skills, but remove the transformation of the big hulking monster. Keep everything else the same. See if it improves things.

what they could do to jazz it up a bit and keep it fun is take the blood spattering on the screen effect that they have when you die in the newest battlefield, and have basically that up on your screen as you're running around in PB. I'm not sure how removing the PB texture thingies themselves might affect the animations of the PB skills, but I am sure that PBs cause crashes/lags.

Since i instaled amarenth patch i got no problems with pb,skills and lot of ppl. only with pets that lag the hell out of my pc.

yea pets cause lag that's abnormal too, because standing around 4 players doesn't cause that sort of lag for me but for some reason dominators still cause lag. But since if you attack dominator pets in battlegrounds you can get stuck, and if this happens in your safe zone (quite common) you cannot fix it because you can't die, I don't even attack pets anymore. All you gotta do to take me out of the equation is sick a pet on me. But I will kill you enough to make you remember not to do that too often, hopefully.

Couldn't agree more.

I dont think that remove the transformation effect is a good idea. Yes, in terms of less lag it would be an improve, but in terms of the pvp itself it wouldnt help: first, because the pbs are big to be able to target them easier and be aware of their presence.

They can attempt to fix it in other ways, like refining the graphics, lowering some textures maybe and reducing the particles of some of the pb skills. For example, Rebria have an effect for some instant cast skills that is a big twister, each time someone use that, it freezes: i dont said "remove it", but maybe they should leave that effect for skills with casting time and not to the instant ones.

Make the pbs being unable to be used when 5 mins left to the end of the battle could also help. That way, by losing the adventage of use the pb at the end, people maybe would start to use it in the middle of the battle.
