Elite Monster Changes:

For boss type monsters, there are changes to the way you battle them. There are new statuses/modes for these boss type monsters that will change the way in which players fight them.



The monsters will have a Rage status(Left/Left Top), a KO'd status(Center/Right Top), and be able to be combo'd in the air(Right/Bottom

EDIT: I'm getting the impression that there actually isn't a new continent and instead there's a huge change on the second continent. I wonder if I'm correct?

Mission Mode Changes
The old Chaos maps to get to the Chaos Missions will be removed now. Due to the Chaos consuming the continent, the Chaos modes will be integrated the normal Mission Maps. There will also be a Quick Entry mode that will randomly select a map and provide better rewards.



Does this mean that there won't be any more field map farming?

I have a rather important question regarding future skill changes. If the sp cost of learning a skill is reduced, will we get skill points back if we have ranks in that skill when the change occurs?

New Origin Skill Changes (from iah)


I have a rather important question regarding future skill changes. If the sp cost of learning a skill is reduced, will we get skill points back if we have ranks in that skill when the change occurs?

-Oracle's emergency assemble seems to be more of a move for lols with some emergency uses.
-Harles/Savages are getting some good additions to the skills.
-Ninja's seem to also get a nice move.
-Feeling sorry for Paladins. Although they got nice new skills, the cooldown increases and the inability to use time reverse in pvp make them have to rethink their combos.
-Gladiators/Myrmidons seem to be getting a nice skill buff. Stumbles cast time reduced and Gust slash hitting downed enemies may be too much.
-Mages have too many to count. But they seem to have mp cost inceases, some range increases, and even alittle buff/debuff to revive.
-Archers seem to get some changes. Mostly on the Ranger side.
-Thiefs have several skill changes. One I seem to worry about is the fact that Nozzel tuning seems to now apply a move-spd reducer to rocket punch because of it's pvp uses. Range and mp cost buffs for the Savage side. Spin and Fever buffs applied to their dancing skills are interesting. Cosack dances buff to apply stun is a major buff.
-Assasins/Ninjas well wow. A crit rate increase buff added to some of their skills. Wood rush gets a cast time reduction now that frightens me in pvp.

Overall the skill changes seem to be both good/bad depending on the class. I do hope we get the SP back if their costs are reduced.

Assuming this skill can be used in PvP and the range is decent, I can think of all kinds of uses for it.

For instance:
- Use it at the start of a PvP round to gather your allies quickly for buffing purposes, saving time in the event that everyone starts all spread out everywhere.
- Use it to save teammates from pally locks, WM freeze, invoker magnet/chain lightning, etc., or to quickly snatch them out of the range of an impending stun or debuff skill.
- Use it to ensure that you catch all nearby teammates in the range for an instant or wide heal or cure (no more chasing people all over the map spamming instant heal or cure, praying that they stay within range long enough for it to take effect, hurray).
- Use it to gather your nearby allies at the location of a locked enemy or an enemy that is near death so they can quickly combine forces and dispose of him/her.

Of course, it could backfire if you use it and draw everyone on your team into an enemy lock or something, so I think it's going to take careful judgment to know when it's safe to use it.

It may or may not be eliminated. If you look at the new map for the second continent there is an icey area and you access it from Ash Mist. It could be that they just merged Buhr Island onto the second continent.

However, the new map has icons symbolizing the big dungeons (Lavalon, Aram, Van Cliff, Drakos, etc.) and there is no icon on the ice area so I doubt it's implemented yet/may have been scrapped.
