Hi there, I'm stuck in the middle of the choice of which alt to level.

I'm aiming to make a UW/PvP character and I wanted to level either a Bourg or a Champ. Firstly I just want to know why I see so few bourgs in UWs. Are they just not seen as strong enough to compete?
I know that bourgs can shoot up to the spawns etcetc but I'm looking more at the actual pvp situations, is a bourg strong enough to take out other classes?

Also if anyone has any opinions on champs being better than bourgs, speak up! Any help is appreciated Thanks

While they aren't bad, the reason why you don't see so many bourgs is because of the sheer number of champs out there. Launcher bourgs won't beat knights alone, and beating a decent champ is difficult, let alone if you are facing more than one. Artisans are generally superior to gun bourgs in most aspects, and launcher bourgs are pretty linear.

But by all means they have their niche and try them out before you decide otherwise.
