After a lot of debating and rough guesstimates, this needed some real figures to settle it.

This is comparing the two sets, both at +20. I am assuming that the shoulder piece is FOC Aceroa in both cases, and as such its stats are not included here (only its part of the set bonus).

The effects of the CON and MND are included in the other stats (eg HP, MP, crit), but I included them on the chart also so the raw stats can be seen.

Posted Image

Notable points - FOC set has 445 HP and ~9% skill crit more than RH; RH set has 87 SCAD, 80.5 48.3 heal bonus and 48.2% elec resist more than FOC.

EDIT : I calculated using 1 MND = 0.5 heal. It is in fact 0.3

Therefore RH set's heal bonus is 107.4, FOC is 59.1

Great work, but then it misses the point wich one would heal more in the long run.
We know, RH armor will give you higher crit heals.
We also know FoC armor will make you crit heal more often.

So.... wich will heal more in lets say for example.... 100 casts??

Of course armor is not the only thing you should take into notice. 10% more skill crit chance its a lot if you didnt enchanted your jewels. On the other hand i know ppl with over 80% skill crit, then 10% doesnt seem that much.

My advice, if you have huge skill crit chance (over 60-70%) go for RH if you want.
If you dont have a really high crit chance (less than 50%) stay on foc. Its useless to have high crit heals if you dont crit often enough.

And lets face it, FoC armor can take you well till 72 (even too 79) when you can use Salvation armor.

So ty fo info Tally, loved the charts too -_-

Yup good point on the average heal there.

At L74 with my current +10ish FOC set I have 53% crit and lesser pt heals of 2100, crits of 4500 (give or take)

Rough working going from there: in 100 heals I should be doing (in current set)
(47 x 2100) + (53 x 4500) = 377200 for FOC

If I switch to RH, lets say I lose 9% crit, gain 80 to heals (so 2180), and 90 to SCAD (so ~4740 crits), that's
(56 x 2180) + (44 x 4740) = 330640 for RH

So FOC is ~13% better in this case, over time. These ofc are very (very) rough calculations, based only on my gear.

And I was going to do a comparison with Salvation and the L79 set too, but can't find any info on which stats raise with reinforcement, and by how much.
If anyone can let me know that'd be awesome -_-

Yup Salvation is top S2 rads armor.
Salvation pluss mind scad and elec resists. (also has some skill crit that wont pluss)
Lvl 79 plusses skill crit and mnd light resists.

Thing is skill crit is really easy to get enchanting but the armors give quite little when you renforce them
On the other hand when you pluss armor they give lots of scad, a lot more than you can get enchanting.

Only way i could use lvl 79 armor is a con set just for pvp. I dont care much in how high my heals are there, i prefer to live longuer to keep healing.

And with 54% skill crit i dont care if you heal 4k or less, just keep those crits coming -_-
Skill crit often helps a lot more than skill crit high. Of course if both better :D

I went for the foc set, the little bit of scad and the little bit of mnd, isn t worth it vs the skill crit the foc set gives. Not to mention it s "kinda" easier to reinf and get then the rh one.
At lvl 69, with magic swallower+12 and foc+12 I crit 4k. Haven t finished the jewls yet, I ll have to see what the final result is.
And according to my math the skill crit you get from foc+12 is 10%( can t check now, servers are down) -_-
Salvation will be my next step

vig life s2 also lacks scad. foc is a good and cheap solution until one can really work on salvation.

Very good point. Vig has more MND and crit% than FOC, however no CON or SCAD as mentioned.

SCAD is less important to a radi than other stats, but the lack of CON of only a slight increase on MND and crit% doesn't shake it for me.

Squishy radis need all the CON they can get

Scad is not as important as it is for dps, but its still imprtant. FoC scad soon stacks to make crit heals higher with a tiny lose on skill crit % and mnd. Not to mention the con. But that youll lose when you move to salvation armor anyways.

Id never enchant scad on a rad, but i wouldnt chose an armor that doesent raize it either.

At +12 the skill crit difference is 2.511% between FOC and Vig. So its a good amount. I tend to use Vig on PvE and FOC on Raids.

As to S2 Salvation. It doesn't exist. I've seen more S1 Salvation parts than I have S2 Salvation (Zero so far). I wonder how much a single part costs.
