A couple of friends and I started playing two days ago and I don't know if it's just us or the server, but there seems to be a lot of delays and lag. We all have very good internet connection and PC are all up to date. If there is a way to fix the delays and lag please do tell. Thank you.

Probably a crap route between your ISP and gravity. Try using lowerping.com or wtfast.com - they both offer free trials.
A lot of broadband connections suck for certain online games, because they route through crappy servers. Ex, comcast routes to ntt (gravity's isp) through as6453 in most areas, which often has too much packet loss for gaming.
