Topic should be pretty self-explanatory. Would be nice if it were a usable piece of gear, even if it has no special effects and is kind of heavy. Considering you don't even need it equipped to be able to cast the skill, can't see how adding a slot would be OP in any way.

It may even give incentive to equip it. No one will, but at least they'd have that option.
