This is a skill point question. If you have a trancended class at 99/70 with all 69 skill points used up, what exactly happens with skill points and job level when you get the 3rd class? I don't want to screw up my character.

You retain all skills you have, and become a lvl 99/1 third job character. You can't carry over skill points or otherwise use non-third-job skill points on third job skills. It's just like when you change from first to second job.
