I had a run time error while mvping with traps and now my speakers aren't working. My drivers are working fine and everything indecates that they are working but no sound is coming out. =/ Any ideas on how to fix this?

Same here after maintenance every time I try to load the client I get this error:



I've tried the older MS Visual C++ runtimes and the updated ones on my vista and linux machines also tried reinstalling the RO client multiple times making sure no files were left behind aswell...still wont work.

Hmm I tried the older client download from irowiki and it works fine now...you guys should see what's up with the main sites client direct download?

Is sound working outside of RO?

If it's only RO, have you checked that sound is enabled in setup.exe, not just the ingame sound settings?

If it's not just RO, is the default sound output device set correctly?
