It could be nice to have more models that fit more with the game enviroment. For example, the Goblins can mount Crocs, why Temperions cant? Also, other mobs could be mounted, for example the Spiders or the Ziebalt and even the Hounds. Also, other kind of mounts could be based in the wingrider designs, adapted to the ground transport.

Here a design i made of a wingrider modified as a mount. The photoshop is very bad but i think that one still can get the idea:



I also would add spikes to the wheels and dampers(?) to make it able to absorb the impact when jump a hill. Also would add a pike in the back maybe with skulls or something like that XD and something in the front to clean the way, you know, like the trains had.

(edited): ah, i called this mount, the Hillrider, but i guess they could find a better name, lol.
