Yup, started playing yesterday when I got an email from Gravity encouraging people to try it out. I see elsewhere around this forum people mentioning different "realms" now does that mean your server (but this is on Facebook... I see no option to select a server...) or is that simply the 6 realms mentioned in the game? (The names I saw were Hell, Asura and some 3rd thing I don't quite recall.)

I started playing this game yesterday and somehow I feel like I'm in the wrong realm or something... There's way too many people who aren't talking in English and it was pretty confusing .-.

Other than that I'm liking the game so far.

theres actually different realms? lol i just hit the stuff to log in and let it go~

One way to test automated different servers it is to try meeting in the same location in the same city and see if the others show up or not?

Or just... wait for an official person to tell us, hah.

There seem to be different "realms" but I don't think it's a Server per se but more so a "World" where you can go other than the Human World.

Yeah, that's for sure- they're all on the fully zoomed-out minimap. It doesn't seem reasonable to have randomly assigned separate servers anyways, so I'm assuming that that is the only use of the word "realm" in ED.

The word "realm" can actually be associated to the term "faction"... well that seems the easiest way to describe it.

soooo why not call it a faction?

doesnt matter either way, but it is a bit cornfusing with the other games having different servers and whatnot kinda thought there was more then one on this one too~

also whats up with the little 1 in a circle on the top right, are they like channels?

It's called realm to keep along theme of the game.

Yeah the number on the top right is the "Channels" but for some odd reason while I was in Luoyang I couldn't change it. It was only in the Starting Zone I was able to.

Yeah map areas are realms, lines are most approximate to servers. & yeah I found the same thing, and boy does Louyang need other "channels"/"lines"! Wooh. o__o;;;
