I've been questing in Luoyang and I noticed that there's a handful of quests that I have to capture certain types of monsters. For some reason it keeps failing tho... is there any trick to it? Is there a level limit to what you can capture? Is there a limit to how many you can have?

My findings:

1. You must have a free slot in your Pet list. Not the ones that says "Lv.require:xx".
2. Getting the enemy low in HP helps at least 20% or less (just like in RO!)

Of course you're more than welcome to comment/correct me. I'm not a professional and I just thought that someone else may find this useful since there aren't any guides yet out there.

I've been finding the same thing. Also at one point an NPC mentions holding an item "over the wounded animal's head"- so perhaps for certain creatures there is a taming item requirement?

The lower the HP the higher the success. When it's about 15% or lower, it's usually 100% success.
