The Battlemode command was removed with Renewal.
Press Esc and go into settings, you can assign keys to other skill boxes, and your skill box, you're able to open to display 4 rows. Set the keys you want to use, and then make sure the check box at the bottom is either ticked or unticked, I can't remember which.
After that, you can press enter or esc to close the text box, and enable the far improved battle mode.
