The maintenance usually ends at around 2am PST, so you should be able to connect now. If you're still getting an error message, let us know what it is. Please do not create duplicate threads.

I still cant log in. it keeps saying failed to connect to server. i dont know whats going on. im from NY so idk if this makes the time difference.

Are you using a shortcut to run the game? Please try going to the Ragnarok game folder and use the Ragnarok.exe there...also check to make sure that the game isn't being blocked by a firewall.

i tried that already. still getting the same result. so pissed right now. but maybe maintenance is still going on

Does it patch at all? You could try checking your security programs like antivirus or firewalls to see if RO is still an allowed program. You could also try deleting the patchclient folder and restarting. If that fails, you may need to redownload the game and reinstall.

yeah it patch. but everytime i try to log in, it keeps saying failed to connect to server

Most likely case:

RO is blocked by your firewall. You probably are running a software firewall, and had allowed RO through it back when you installed RO.

Now we got a client update last night with maint, and that changed the ragnarok executable. Your firewall has noticed that, and since it's not the same program that you allowed through the firewall, and will not allow the newly updated client to access the internet.

Solution: Go into your firewall configuration, and do whatever you did to make it work when you set up RO.

If it's not that:

Did you change anything during the maint? install anything? uninstall anything?

I changed my firewall to include Ragnarok and I still can't play it and I get the same error message. I thought I would have to download then entire game over again, really hoping I don't. Is there anything I can do to fix this??
