So I know you must have 0 weight, but my inventory has several 0 weight items like the Eden Group items and some other quest items that I can't discard. Will I be able to rebirth and if I can, will I keep the items after doing so? How about zeny? Do I bring the exact amount or will I keep whatever change is left over. Thanks.

Yes, you will be able to rebirth with those items in your inventory, and yes, they will still be there after.
You will need to be at 0 zeny after making the "donation", so get rid of your extra somehow.

Also remember that VIP doesn't have to pay the donation.
You keep all 0 weight items. I always bring peco wings with me when I rebirth (they're actually 0 weight, though the desc says otherwise).
