None of the animations for magic skills t involve the usage of the weapon. Every time, I pull a skill, my staff gets strapped to my back. Same for wand&shield, claws etc.

I know that many will disagree but wands are things from the past, and tbh, it looks kind of silly to see someone casting spells by waving a wand.

As i see it, in the different kinds of game magic, the caster or call to the gods to channel their power, or take the power from the elements or from their own body. And the main "tools" to do it are the hands. Then, the weapon/s that help them in that process should be more integrated to the hands, to give them more flexibility to cast that power.

And alternative idea to wands could be something in the lines of this:

It doesn't need to be like Disney, the staff can be held in the hand when Pew Pewing with the other hand. It may also act like an energy conduit and glow when doing longer spells. Just please no strapping to the back every time my rad pulls of something.


If one needs to complain about the weapons I would start with the fact the weapons in this game are silly and oversized, but then I realised this is the norm in MMOs. I am not a fan of these large weapons but I guess little boys like them.

Well, my complain wasnt against staves, those are fine, bcs have more functions. First, they help the old mages to walk XD , are a sign of power, and also are a melee weapon. The staff have more sence, since can be used as a conduct to channel the forces, it connect the sky with the earth, and make the mage be able to handle that power.
