So I noticed that sometimes when you change map while riding your pet you end up standing on it's back in a frozen animation

then I started playing with my skills by pressing the button I assigned the ride skill + another skill at the same time the results were..interesting

first any skill with a cast time will have you hop onto your pet and lock you on the first part of that skill's animation with no skill effect taking place but wait there's more skills without a cast time trigger their effects and place you on the pet (some skills will knock you off the pet if the skill then hits a monster but not all of them will)

Then I used my ultimate skill and got stuck

(I'll post screenshots in a minute, other people may want to try this out I have only played with savage's skills so far)

The first few shots look like the same bug you get when you fall out of a map... It kinda reminds me of that.

the black is because when you use that ultimate skill the screen goes black for the user except for yourself

and the rock outfit is part of the animation of that skill

That explains a lot, I guess... I think this should be moved to Bug Reporting? o.o

Yeah... fun... You're just stuck there watching dozens of mobs leak at round 40+ xD

no the other two people in my party killed them and beat stage 50 I was pretty much only there because I'm level 80 anyway

and once the map changes it fixes and you're no longer stuck

Edit: oh and while stuck like that other people / the mobs / the towers don't display at all
but the tower's attack animations do and so do the speech bubbles

Well...I'm stuck in libra next to the mail box ch3 now

(and I'm double posting again but it's my topic and no one else seems interested so...)

Edit: easy way out when stuck = use the pet puff tower skill to teleport

used ultimate skill then used warp skill to escape being stuck but warped to the map i was already on (libra) so no loading screen
everyone becomes invisible to me even my pet and myself (while riding) if I get off the pet I get my head/arms etc back but if I then hop back on the pet everything is invisible again (is fixed the same way as others by going to another map so that you get a loading screen)

Actually the bug with the stuck ultimate thing is quite old, they never fixed it >.< but heres a screenie of the first time it happened to me. It was a week or so after 4th classes were released.

Yeah there's like a 1-2 second gap when you use the skill that if a monster knocks you down the screen stays black and you cant attack happened to me a few times when the skill was new too

as I remember you could still move around though but when triggered by using the pet you cant move at all so the only way out of it would be to logout or use a warp card of some kind but thankfully they made pets a portable puff tower and that works too

Ah ok! Thanks for the solution lol. And yeah you could move around but without weapon or skills xD

to ride a riding pet you need to level it to 20 do a quest to evolve it then level it to 40 and do another quest to evolve again after it has evolved the second time it will gain the ride skill

dragonkin classes can't evolve their pets yet because of a bug with their NPC

for humans the quests to evolve the pets are:

at level 20: pet NPC amy in port of the winds
at level 40: unknown hunter in the dried wood swamp (two maps away from libra you need to give him an item the libra potion seller NPC sells)
