For any of you who have collected trading cards or game cards, you'll understand how exciting it can be to open a booster pack and find that shiny limited edition card that is more desired than the standard edition one. So what if monster cards had limited edition cards that had added effects or larger stat bonuses

For example:

Current Poring card -
LUK + 2
Perfect Dodge + 1

LE Poring card -
LUK + 4
Perfect Dodge + 3

Or

Current Peco Peco card -
+10% max hp

LE Peco Peco card -
+15% max hp

(maybe the Peco Peco card isn't the best example as it is still a desired card but you get the idea)

Drop rates would be even rarer, say a 1 in 5 or even 1 in 10 chance at dropping when a card is supposed to drop. And the appearance of the card itself would be gold.

This idea is mostly to give a boost to those cards that are now deemed "crap" now.

Come up with your own LE card ideas for older cards.


I don't believe applying LE cards would be good to apply to newer cards but instead to older less popular cards that people think are "junk". I think this way it would make hunting even older enemies worthwhile.

Fabre Card = +100 MHP

LE Fabre Card = +150 MHP, +2 VIT!

Dam good idea.I can 1 up this idea tho. This would also help with the keeping cards rare. Imagine upgrading cards or enhancing card effects. For example

Poring card = Luk +2 perfect dodge +1
+1 Poring card = Luk +3 perfect dodge +1
+2 Poring card = Luk +3 perfect dodge +2
+3 Poring card = Luk +4 perfect dodge +3

Peco Card = Max HP + 10%
+1 Peco Card = Max HP + 12%
+2 Peco Card = Max HP + 14%
+3 Peco Card = Max HP + 16%

A description of the upgrade would be: You must have 1 eden merit badge and (100,000 zeny to 10mil zeny) depending on card for an attempt. +3 Max and a chance to break with every enhancement makes cards that more valuable and rare. Also would help me clear out the 300 to 400 cards I have taking up space in my storage. This would be a good way to get rid of zeny and tons of cards on the servers. Maybe charge and outrageous price for enhancement attempt and have a special Kafra bought Eden merit badge for a more successful upgrade attempt.
