For spannish? for german? For other ????The server doens't want them? I call that racism. Not again the skin color but the language...
Server rule => speack english or leave
Speack english is important in an international multiplayer game but the censorship isn't the solution... How to speack in your home language with your friend?

I'm going to go with MSN, AIM, Pigeon, Facebook, Twitter, YIM, Video Chat (blah), Text Message, Ventrillo, Team Speak and Google Chat.

Pretty meh, but they do that to prevent people form abusing the "I dont speak english" and then replying in some random language that no one on staff would know.

It's only accented characters (é in example) and symbols (I hit it with £ a lot, which is shift+3 here)

so you know... just use e instead of é, i instead of í would be a way to get around it, it'd be close enough, unless say.. écrire had a VERY different meaning to ecrire
