Taiwan 2-0
Neither teams stalker/wiz skill danced for max efficiency. Team Taiwans paladin was a lot more aggressive with his GD spam than team China. Didn't see who taiwan killed first vs team china in game 1 but they rushed their ME once they had them all frozen and finished them off.
Game 2 was very exciting, Taiwans champion was seen as having very low dex which i'm going to assume is because he is 1 shot build based on the fact that he one shot team chinas paladin (if i seen it correctly no replay sucks) Team taiwan then got a half freeze on team china since they had no sacrifice for proff but their champion was counterfisted and killed off. making it 6v6 however team taiwan got a full freeze on china and their paladin finished off the rest of team china with Rapid Smite.
note : sorry if the match coverage isnt very well written i have been drinking and suck at writing in general

Thailand 2-0
Thailand is playing perfectly, and based off of the fact that both games they were able to 1 shot team EU paladin i believe they play with low dex/vit 1 shot champion (it won them the game right off game 1, and in game 2 champion tried to cross the gap right off start for their paladin but froze and had to back off) they then froze all of EU with well-timed(lucky) GB/SG/Dispell and 1 shot paladin again under SG even though they could've easily killed proff first.

I think it's pretty hard to stand a chance against countries where the local tournament finals are even done on stage and e-sports like these are much more supported... And seeing how Thailand fought, I don't think the US will stand a chance if they beat taiwan :/
Unfortunally...
But I guess I'll see it tomorrow, since I'm not going to stay up that long... (it's 4:42am here)

Brazil will beat malaysia/singapore.
Japan or Korea will beat brazil.
USA will beat brazil (IF THEY LOSE TO THAILAND) which i highly doubt, would be more confident if semi-finals were played best 3/5 though...
my predictions anyways

- Western teams have little, if any chance, to recover from jetlag and the competitions are held at what would usually be early-morning hours for them
- Non-asian teams tend to have a lot of logistical problems putting their teams together because they are always forced to fly to asia for the event
- The GM teams of the western servers don't seem to place much importance on RWC and there's not much in the way of official practice or anything
I mean, really imo, get the jRO/kRO teams, put them on a 10 hour flight missing one person, fly them across the world and have them play with no practice other than WoE and see how well they perform.
If we make it past the first round, it'll be a miracle.

Brazil wins 2-1
Brazil played the same both games, looked to have lost to an unlucky frost joke in game 2 and were in an absolutely horrible spot game 3 but Brazil champion did an amazing job with counterfists and pretty much carried team brazil to victory.
amazing matches
note : just realized there is reply but don't have time to go over every match /sry

Korea 2-1
First match : FLUKE, Stalker from japan had aria proc(somehow?) or stats from battlechant because his very first casts were all instant on top of korean team getting all froze off a nasty joke at the very start.
Second match : amazing match, really too much went on longest match yet MUST WATCH.
Third match : Korea won easily due to japans switch from stalker to gypsy which failed horribly due to korean team all having appropriate vitality.
i honestly feel both teams play very well/similiar, match 1 was a fluke match 2 was amazing and match 3 was just disadvantage due to bad choice of swapping to gypsy
