Ok so I have a champ, and if I followed the stickied guide, he says he uses different stone bucklers. But wouldnt it be better to use a round buckler? Besides the price difference.... 100k vs 2m, is there any other difference, besides the fact that the round buckler has double the defense? I mean any other class can still use the round buckler so it should be completely versatile.... Is there anything I'm missing? Thanks

A lot of people made their shield stash pre-renewal before the release of round buckler.

Round Buckler is nice, but I've seen trans aco types using brandium shield if defense is what you are looking for.

the price is the main thing, but the stone buckler does give a 5% reduction from large monsters. anyway the idea is that you will only be using these shields temporarily, and the defense isnt too big of a deal. you could get all racial valk shields but thats just wasting zeny right?

If you don't plan on taking on things with lots of magic, I'd go with a round buckler for general purposes. I'd use the stone buckler if you needed a cheap racial shield.

Right now, there are only about 3 real options for shields:
1. Immune Shield
2. Valkyrja Shield
3. Bradium Shield
