A whole month to ruin other people's playtime. There should be a lvl cap to these accounts.
There's so many Ymir players that are using it as a chance to bot WoE supplies or to make extra zeny.
You're essentially harassing normal users by doing this, which is against your own terms of service.

Well, that's a bit too harsh, but this free char thing definitely is very disappointing and just doesn't feel right. If the game were bot free, I wouldn't mind it at all, on a contrary... otherwise, err, this "discreet event" is just ridiculous.

There was a free character creation event just the other day, too... I think it would probably be for the best to cut the event short, myself. One of the biggest draws for people to move to Ymir over the free servers is the paywall providing a much more bot-free environment - with the VIP system now, it honestly doesn't provide much else to a new player, unless their friends were already playing on there. Maybe it would be possible to lure people to the VIP server using the referral system? Let people provide a 1 day of VIP coupon or something along with the email if they've been a member for long enough and/or spent money on WPE... I dunno. I don't think that leaving Ymir open for that long is a very good move though, especially when you guys have two servers already full of bots that require smoting.

Don't even wanna know xD It'll probably just make me want to quit the favourite game. But I have a basic idea of how people can use even such a simple power as Game Master and how they're tempted to do it while they can. Had a few GM's working for me in the past and witnessed how a responsible and respectable person can turn into a twisted, power and money blinded creature. By saying it's too harsh I meant the part about only hearing the sound of coins. Don't think it's the only thing... since they're still doing their job most of the time, it's just that they could do it better, but who's perfect?

why you guys must allow non VIP to enter Ymir. if that server suppose to be for pay for play or VIP, dont allow non VIP there.that will ruin the server sooner or later

The Friends with Benefits wouldn't work so well if you Ymirians couldn't get your friend to join you on Ymir.

I do not like the side effect of some bots getting in, but without any influx of characters this campaign would do nothing for Ymir.

Not to mention as soon as the event is over, banned bots are banned for good. Ymir isn't going to be overrun with bots because that paywall is still there. Ban 100 bots on Ymir, 100 bots are gone. It's not like the free servers where you ban 100, and 150 more are created.

why not make it so that people who have paid any money can send out invitations for a free slot instead of this.

If you get caught with 1 bot friend oh well but if you get caught with 10 bot friends you are obviously abusing it and it's linked to your account = easier to ban then this
