so I'm coming back very casually after a few years away, I was going to make a blacksmith on valkyrie but I dont see any stat guides that are recent for renewal anywhere on the web, anyone got an idea of where I can find one? Thanks!

GalenDresden's Newbie Merchant Guide is probably your best bet for an in-depth merchant guide on where to level and what to do to survive your first 50 job levels.
iRO Wiki Blacksmith Page for your blacksmith build. To me, pre-transcendent class builds post-renewal don't really differ that much to pre-renewal, though I would suggest halving the guide's str amount and distribute the stats elsewhere if you are going to follow the battlesmith build on irowiki.
Once you have transcended, I think MrBudd's guide is your best bet: MrBudd's Mechanic Guide
