Vanilmirth was a test on some keychains/charms I've been making. I noticed the sealant caused it to become translucent, and the more coats I put on the greater the effect was. Tried masking the ball-portion, but the overall effect was not as great as I hoped. xD

Made of shrink plastic :>


Took an older leafcat drawing of mine, and had some fun with it. (but really it was just a test of some newer sealing stuff) XD

Previous version turned out like this back in 2010.-->
I had no idea how much the image would shrink back then. Super tiny kitty!

Shrink plastic is pretty fun. You draw on it, heat it up, and it shrinks.
You can get it in all kinds of colors, but i prefer the sanded "frosted" kind. Lets me use colored pencils on it. <3

Shrink plastic is pretty fun. You draw on it, heat it up, and it shrinks.
You can get it in all kinds of colors, but i prefer the sanded "frosted" kind. Lets me use colored pencils on it. <3

Interesting. Sounds quite fun to use! I presume you could make things like charms for keyrings out of it? Maybe I should look for some in a craft shop.

BTW i love that Flir you made. so cutee!!

I got mine at Hobby Lobby. If you plan on using ink with it, though, be prepared to do a bunch of testing. Some ink can't tolerate being heated.
It's a lot of fun to work with! :>
