Hi there, is there a certain level cap where you can only level once no matter how much experience you get from turn ins? Whatever level I am (70-80ish) I only level once i turn in a monster hunt. Usually I get 100%-102% exp (from lvl 78 with 78% to 79 with 80%, and so on).

I really wish that at least for the lower level turnins they would break it into at least 2 chunks. I hate seeing so much exp going to waste Don't think gaining 2 levels is that bad.

It's an informative question. How could it be stupid? And it's true, the max exp i get is equal to 1 level.

I have leveled twice off a turn-in before (with x3)
so it is possible to exceed one level.

Sometimes people need to realize that this is just a game.

so it is possible to exceed one level gained.

You must have not read his previous comment. I do not tolerate his behavior. I was looking for help and he calls me and my post stupid. So maybe you should tell your friend what you're telling me too.
I've read the max experience gained and it does show a possibility of leveling up twice (around 90-ish percent? idk).

On a side note, I don't usually flame. But he was asking for it x)

Well it really just depends on where the turn-in is taking place.
I have leveled twice at level 122 xD
122-124 from one turn in.

You go all base?
x3 manual?
(might have been x2 TI xp week, idk)

Why do we even still have a cap? The whole reason they put it in, was because pre-Renewal, you could cliff snipe an Argi with an archer (or even a mage if you could get it positioned just right) and get an instant 5-6 levels, so they put the cap on limit the value of that practice. It was a questionable move even then (the sniping saved you what, a whole hour of leveling out of the 300 or so it took to max?), and it never should have applied to quest exp. If you finished the quest, you earned its reward, period.

Renewal uses a much flatter curve with bonus exp for fighting in the 5-8 over range, so cliff sniping something while you're 30 under it would be completely and utterly pointless... and even if you do it anyway, the xp you get won't come anywhere close to hitting the cap.

The only thing the cap can *ever* do in Renewal is deny you legitimately earned quest xp, so it really shouldn't be in the game, at all.

Er. A good example would be me doing kobold turn in (3 monsters). Then going rebirth. At level 34, i decided i'd be instant level 75-something or more since per kobold turn in is a million plus exp.

So I talked to gramps and asked for the exp reward, but I only got to level 37 - with 1 level gained per turned-in monster.

You can only level once per chunk of exp, and turn ins are broken into chunks (4 of each I think)

So technically, you could level 4ish times off a turn. (or however many bites the exp is broken in to)

@mefis - Why are you making it off topic? Go rant on your own post. We're talking about the maximum experience gain of turn-ins and quests here, not about whether or not there should be one at all.

+ the fastest one to 99 from pRO beta days took him about a month or two. Hell, even I didn't take that long to 99.
