Question: I am interested in buying a name I really want, if I find the person that owns it can I offer them zeny or items for that name if they don't want it or is that against the rules?

If its illegal I will not do it. If it is I would like to know. :/

it's not illegal, but those person will more likely decline you especially if the name is taken by a lvl 150 character. just make up something else, learn that you cannot have things that you want at will.

Your best bet? Don't do it. If you pay them, but they do not delete the character, we are not going to be able to get your zeny/items back for you.

It's better to have something unique anyway. What's the name though? I'm curious what you could want so much that you'd pay for it.
