I believe I heard some talking about the booking system being revamped but I don't know more than that. Would be nice if it worked for our new player relations fungi committee so new players could get help easier.

But yeah idk it could be easier if the common terminology was in it:
tank, healer, puller, killer, AoE, and "strings"

Gypsy and bard idk what to call them under one name but they're in their own category.

Having to choose the class and stuff is like... err.. idk whoever can do it?

I think you should be able to put what YOU are in the booking system, rather than who you're looking for... that way people just looking for parties, and don't already have one, can find each other appropriately

Not many people even know about the booking system... it's sad =(
It's so useful but overlooked and people just set up chatrooms to recruit.

The booking system can be found by clicking on one of the tabs underneath your character's name/level gauge box. Like, one tab is Info, then equips or whatever, and items..
anyways, one of them says Booking.

Click on that and then type in your level in the level box. The system will automatically set up a party search for you with a 15 level range. You can choose what classes you are looking for and what map, etc.. It's nice, though a little confusing at first.

Really wish this feature was more utilized, and some active way to promote it/attract towards using it.

It would be nice if players could help write the books. It would be great for a new feel for Mage, Acolyte, Ninja and Alchemist Classes.

the booking system is a great idea i just feel there are a few flaws in it and a revamp would be nice.
1. it is dang confusing. people don't know how to use it. they put where they are instead of where they want to hunt, they put the class they are instead of what they are looking for (i know i check ROPD to figure out if they are really an AB or looking for an AB)

solution: maybe it could automatically put your class and lvling range in the booking system for you so you dont have to select it.

solution 2: maybe instead of listing every map in the world just have it have major places of lvling and an option for "Current TI" or something so TI parties can show the are looking.

2. i think it would be nice to show how many people the party is looking for.

3. MAKE IT SO I DON'T HAVE TO SIT AROUND AND DO NOTHING WHILE I WAIT FOR A PM! that's probably the MAIN reason don't use it...cause if i can't get a party i could care less ill just solo, partying is nice and much more fun but i don't like wasting time waiting for one. so it would be nice if you could minimize the party box and put it somewhere on your screen off the main spot.

over all i think the idea is great just not something alot of time went into organizing.

Hit the Enter key and type /booking
Just click search to show everyone looking for a party. Come to think of it, I don't even know how to request a party....

Right now it's hard to recruit properly.
The current booking page is very unclear about if you are "X" class wanting a party or if you
are recruiting "X" class to join an already existing party.

Yeah it certainly wasn't well thought out. Seemed more rushed into service.

Not a failure... you can enter whatever level you want.
If you're 90 and looking for a level 75, just type 75 in and there you go.

I've never used it since back in the beginning of renewal days when there was no such thing as Party in iRO-Renewal dictionary, it used to make a very annoying DING when I was trying to mess the out of magmarings.. so I disabled it i think
