what display settings can help with the map? will using things like rcx help distinguishing normal ones from the mini bosses clearly?

Really????? i could not see any aura... Which is the reason i am asking. Besides of the 150 3rd class aura. I could not spot any aura of any type on the monsters. I could see the ifrit's aura pretty clearly though ( same day et run

i did remember seeing some monster with fury status activated. Is it correct to assume only mini/mvp can do that?

The 160 minis have the lvl 99 aura.

There is a video coming up of a pro party doing this pretty quick I think. He came down with our party tonight and we did about 100 kills on each in 90 minutes or so?

My rules for a party are, No vent, no party. If you don't do your job (Sp slave, Masq wizzies, Kill KKs, Tank, etc) get kicked. You get warnings, so it's not like you didn't know it was coming. I ran a party for 6 hours straight and only 1 person left. Altogether I ran parties down there for about 12 hours today XD Gonna be at it again tomorrow! Should be fun .

That is INCORRECT. ANY bio 3 monster can enter powerup. So be ready. It hurts.

I wouldn't like it any other way. Bio3 is the hardest dungeon in RO currently and it should require some sort of challenge to do. It has a learning curve but once you're used to it it won't feel so bad. Bio3 is the ONLY thing left PvM-wise which is anything close to a challenge in RO, every other dungeon is a face roll.

/... still finding it hard to identify the mvp/mini in a mob ... especially that LK who wipes the party too fast even before you think omg w....i...n.... eek party wipe.. its easy to identify them ( by the slave mob) when they are in a room beside you or you happen to wing near an adjacent room.

i did notice that the wizard MVP has blue Orbs around it.

I have seen some bio monsters on Assumptio or Kaite Like effect ... would those be the mini'/mvp???

How to recognize minibosses:

1) They have bubbly shining auras, blue, shiny, and bubbly.

2) They are trigger-happy on skills. Like, regular kathy might JT here and there, one thunderstorm... then mini has like, spam AoEs!

3) They have different names, minis have their class name and then their first name. Like, regular LK is called "Seyren Windsor" and mini is called "Lord Knight Seyren".

Bio 3 is a fun TI. And because the reward is supergood, most people dun mind dying from time to time ^^

Abbys lake isn't a hard dungeon. It might seem 'harder' than regular maps, because several regular maps are unchallenging at all.

Thana tower and thors are oki, but not hard, and nowhere close to bio3.

1. I have yet to see such aura... are you refering to the 160's or the mvp?
2. i guess trigger happy on skills would be a quick way to get us to notice them.
3. the names part would actually matter when you are able to move your mouse over them quickly enough because some of em are so dammed fast that the party wipe before you can actually spot the name.

Do all of the MVP have the blue orb's like effect of the high wizard?
