Not sure if this has been covered already, but is there a more definitive formula for potion creation than the one currently on iRO Wiki? I'm wondering because looking at that formula it would appear that a Biochemist gains a 4% advantage over a Geneticist due to the higher max job level. Does the game actually reflect this, or does it give a bonus due to the player being in the higher class tier?
Granted the Geneticist can make that up through an additional 40 points in Dex/Luk, but common sense would say that the 3rd class player would get a natural boost over the Transcendent 2nd class player.
And yes, I do realize the stupidity in using the phrase "common sense" when it comes to the game mechanics.

That is correct, and in fact, even when you push stats+gears to the max, you do better (ever so slightly) with a 99/70 biochem vs 150/50 genetic. That's why all the good potters have 2 potting chars, a 99/70 ranker and 150/50 genetic for genetic items (which you need anyway, because the stats are different)
