People born in the late 80s/early 90s are quite a unique bunch I feel. We've seen the rise of globalization happen before our eyes, yet we can still remember a simpler time when things were still simple and separated. Most of us have grown up with the internet and have seen the changes happen to it over the years and in a way it has grown up with us as well.
We'll probably be the last generation to be able to tell our children how the world was before everyone was connected to everyone else, and how entertainment wasn't just a method for corporations to earn money.
Don't forget the right to have an abortion. In 1992, there wasn't much in the way of internets at all.
I love internet, I think it's maybe humanities greatest invention yet. I've got some super
old-ass people in my family (100+) who tell me how things were for them and for their parents in the late
1890s-1930s in the US. Especially for woman, things have changed for the better.
Age of consent/marriage is no longer 10.
We got the right to vote.
Arranged/forced marriages are no longer the accepted norm.
Equal rights to pursue education regardless of gender.
Right to choose to divorce.
Right to remain owners of our property and inheritance.
Right to choose to use birth control.
Right to be employed and have personal income (still working on that pay disparity).
Right to wear pants or anything else we want for that matter.
Is that guy playing on a Kinect?

There was also no Wireless Internet. Nothing but the sound of the phone being dialed when you were looking to get internet.

shouldn't this be in off topic, this isn't the appropriate place for this, it's mindless dribble. Who follows the nobel prize? this is the kind od self indulgent crap you see in O. Henry? best american essays.

No regrets? Jesus, I'm 90' and I have a ton of regrets. Atm I'm trying to get my life on a cord I'm content with and shooting for the world.
I guess people have very different upbringings.
My life wasn't perfect (who's actually...), and there are surely a ton of things I could've made better.
But in the long run?
No, I wouldn't change anything.
Every bad thing you had to cross or bear or overcome made you to the person you are today.
And if you like the outcome - why should you regret something?

I remember watching that every day after school. So awesome.1992 is the year Batman: The Animated Series debuted, so it was a pretty great time to be growing up.

Such younglings ITT (born in the year the Jedi returned). 1992 is the year Batman: The Animated Series debuted, so it was a pretty great time to be growing up. Pres Clinton played the sax on the Arsenio Hall show, later to be parodied on the Animaniacs. Most of all I remember the riots here in Los Angeles, scary...but nebulous and far away.

I watched this at 4AM on CartoonNetwork for a month straight a few years back.
Robin... lol.
HOLY HEARTBREAK BATMAN!
