HO card works like shield reflect indeed, in what it reflects and what it doesn't. Each source of reflect is counted separately, they do not stack. For example, if you use Shield reflect and HO card, and something hits you, you will reflect two hits, one being 5% of the damage, and one being 40% from shield reflect (not like 40+5, but separately 40 and 5%)
Which, in math, is the same ammount of damage (40%+5% = 45%), but activates effects from gears/cards twice, once for each reflect skill.

It isn't exactly the same amount of damage... if you are taking too low damage you may not reflect (for example, filir hat reflecting 1% will not reflect if you are taking lower than 100 damage).

5% of 100 = 5
45% of 100 = 45
40+5 = 45
1% of 100 = 1
40+5+1 = 46
One thing is regular math, one other thing are the game damage rules and calculations.

40% of 100 = 40
5% of 100 = 5
45% of 100 = 45
40+5 = 45
1% of 100 = 1
40+5+1 = 46
One thing is regular math, one other thing are the game damage rules and calculations.
And lower than 100, means numbers from 99 and down
I meant that if, for example, you have a gear which reflects 1% of the damage and a gear which reflects 5% damage, both equiped at the same time, and you take for example, 90 damage, the damage you take is not
5%+1%= 6% * 90 = 5.4 damage (floored to 5)
but instead you take
5%*90 = 4.5 (floored to 4) + 1%* 90 = 0.9 (floored to 0) = 4 damage
In the first case, you have two reflects, and two chances to activate autocast gears. In the second case, you reflect less, and have only half the chance to activate autocasts. Difference does matter ^^;
