Too many people and shops to where I can't see any of the NPC's. If a newbie comes up to you and asks where Gramps or Sparkle is, how would you respond to them? This is starting to turn into a "Finding Waldo," isn't it?

I don't know why Ralis go and hide himself on other maps for Hide and Seek event if he just can do it in Eden. Way more difficult.

I still like the idea of putting all these Level/TI Based NPC's (Gramps, ViP Warper, ViP Buffs) to another place, like a nice cityside, and offer a free warp for everyone inside eden instead...
Would give enough space to make out a party recruitment spot and I could think of many shops going there, too.
I would still like to have a ViP Buffer in Eden, too, so... just making two of them XD

I think Gramps should be move to another room like the one by the stairs of first floor eden group. It's so empty in there, and what's the use for the room anyways?

Id like it if they would just make it to where you can not use vend or a chat room inside of Eden. It is getting ridiculous and causes massive lag for some people o.o There all ready is booking in the game so it really wouldn't be too hard to find a party if people actually used it. Prontera is all ready the vending capital so just make it even more crowded. Also i know of some newbies who dont know wtf eden is cause it looks like a marketplace until you realize there are quest there.

Grandpa's relatively new function of the npc "Quest Here!! ?? !! ??" is redundant with all the chatrooms and vends xD

been asking for a no vend in eden for a while now i dont think its gonna happen. so now we just play hide n seek in there and if a newbie asks where people are you just say ask a GM or staff member maybe they can tell you where they are in a slew of people. i tried walking a newbie to Sparkle and he just kept going upstairs then i got a pm form him and was like f this game whats the point of having all these helpfull npc's if you cant find them. i was like oh its a game inside a game. i think ill start offering zenny to new people who find Sparkle or any of the hidden npc's who apparently rather be playing assassins creed

how about moving eden to batle grounds site, since no one is rly there at least could be fubby see it full, for a while

So clean... Why is it a big deal to disable vending in eden? Isn't eden supposed to hook in new players to the gasme because all its doing is driving them out.

Put restriction tiles(cells you can't walk on) around the place, like you did during the raffle NPC times. People were complaining they couldn't click the npc so they disabled the immediate area around the npc.

Do that in Eden group. Think smart.

Gah 100% of the people support this, but they keep saying 'it's been looking in to', not sure why it's still not even implemented.

Chats should be disbled in the first room of Eden. Gramps should be moved to the arena room behind the blue doors. This has been suggested multiple times before, but still no action taken.

 

Disappointing.

 

 

Also, if gramps is moved to the arena room, I'd suggested making it so that talking to the NPC inside a TI map takes a player directly back to the arena room.

 

 

And yes this is a necro'ed thread, but eltobumingo is not wrong in bringing this issue back up. It honestly should not be allowed to fade away until something is done. Too many new players struggling to find NPCs.

Nothing says "We totally aren't trying to drive away new people" quite like getting them one-shotted when they think they're in a safe place.  Any newb who got stuck with the Culvert Eden quest recently can probably attest to that.    

 

Eden really is unreasonably hard to navigate though.  Sometimes it's even hard to move across the room since there's so few places to click.  The Where's Waldo comparison really is accurate.

alternative suggestion that doesn't lead to manuals running out while you're playing hide and seek with the blue doors' activation switch or stumbling around in a drunken haze because someone thought it would be funny to cast chaos panic on the entrance again
