The Christmas event is going to be a chance to get a hat that you upgrade by chance to have a chance to trigger an effect that gives you free experience.

Last year the Christmas tree hat required upgrading to at least +7 or up to +9 to get the maximum benefits it gave (as part of the xp event). I predict this years hat what ever it will be, will require upgrading to at least +10 or greater. That's how iRO works these days

My personal opinion is that they should offer hats which have no effect and can only be obtained by participating in a battle to the death. The winner gets the hat, the loser deletes their character.

1. In honor of the Christmas elves they will make the slotted elven ear not account bound. Also, an event where Slotted elevens will also have a high chance to slot and/or not destroy the ear in the process.

2. New lower head gear the candy cane in mouth. +1 agi / Chance of dropping candy canes at a certain %

3. The eggnog creation quest. A small quest to find the ingredients along with a repeatable fetch quest for additional creation. When consumed eggnog has various effects the can either hinder the user or make them joyous for 5 minutes. Effects include a random effect of -10 to +30 on any stat.

I remember when this was first implemented on December 2003 and I married my RO friend's priestess with my wizard. It was truly magical specially when all your guild members are there to celebrate. I think we had about 4 couples within the guild including myself married on the day it was implemented.

A giant Santa Morroc in prontera, make it an all-day battle in prontera. Santa Morroc also summons Incarnations of reindeer that look like incarnation of morroc, but are reindeer.

Boxter with an X-mas box that could give you KVM badges, a random event headgear (not just X-mas headgear) or 1000 jellopys.

Adding 2nd classes to all the rest of the extended classes.
