Are there accuracy modifiers on weapons now? I have a level 85 monk, DEX is like my highest stat at 54, my HIT is 317, and I miss constantly against monsters near my level, like only 2 levels higher and I miss like 50% of the time.

alotta low lvl monsters have a stoopidly high flee for there level range, i had 30 dex, lv10 DA (+10 hit) at lv18 and still was missing ant eggs... it doesnt pan out till like lv110 even with your ideal dex on your characters build

IF you're 85, and your highest stat is 54, you're doing something wrong, I think... Are you distributing your stat points too widely?
There's no accuracy modifier for weapons, you're just feeling the effects of the curious emphasis that renewal places on hit. pre-third-job (and as third job, for that matter), any character that relies on hit needs a surprisingly high dex in order to get an acceptable hit rate. In my limited experience leveling at sub-99 levels, I had to have dex as my highest stat, and still wound up using dex food and sesame pastries / schwarzwald pine jubilees in order to get my hit high enough to level decently.
