RK has no chance to beat a shura. Shura can easily one hit a RK with GoH, Gfist, and can sap all sp with Tiger Cannon. How is this balanced? Why even bother playing RK?

I think Shura got nerfed, but in the wrong areas. GoH really needs to do less damage or have a longer cast time. Its like a ranged Gfist

quite true, the sura also has to afford his own powerful equips to pack a punch
just last woe, my GENETIC (as you know...the ones with LOW HP) survived a g fist from a sura with about 40% life left
no goddies or mvp cards on, just normal items that one would get from playing for 2 years
this shows that the sura also has to afford his/her own great gear to win.

trust me on this, my sura fails badly since i didnt bother to get him good OP gear

That's the thing. You should upgrade your items and earn zeny to afford what you need. You can't expect to own out of nowhere without having the proper equipment.

player skill + gears = win/lose

player skill consists of knowing what action to take and when to take action. also a smooth internet connection allows your actions to be executed effectively.

even if two players are equally matched, there will still be a winner/loser. there is no tie, a tie is an unfinished win

because there is a big gap where all players collide (woe/pvp), trash talk and getting ownd can occur.

however, it is entertaining and it is a good reason to continue playing. where new players get inspired by the vets who left a long time ago and become vets themselves.

RKs have a rune which they can craft called the Verkana rune. Which basically negates 2-4 incoming attacks such as GoH or Gfist. This pretty much renders the Sura to be useless against RK. I really recommend you do some research and actually play the game before starting up these kind of threads.

after the patch i killed so much, so much so much shura, you can not even imagine, after 50 minutes 1st on conter, they don't come back or come back and sit near you as submission.

Sura has the advantage. The only way to kill a skilled/ygg eat sura is 1 hit ko (Rhydo Rune and +12 kvm weapon). The problem are skills like LW and Crescent Elbow.

Before or after the Storm Blast nerf? Sorry but all these guys are NOOBS.

According to your logic there is no need to bother playing ANY class but Shura. Bacause other classes not having a better chances than RK against him.
So your option is either to change class to Shura or to improve as RK. Most classes are not balanced, and if you compare them to Shura there is no even signs of balance, but it's always been like that and complaining about this matter won't help. Just remember that no class is immortal or has no weakness, and forget about the balance. It's not an applicable word to Ragnarok. Though it's not changing the fact that you can enjoy playing any class as long as you like it. If you're trying to be able to kill anyone and want to rule the world, at least prepare yourself to invest some money and thinking in it.

It is actually the other way around if you know how to play RK. Millenium shield and death bound alone is enough to win or at the very least draw with a sura.

You're QQing because of a lack of gears? Lol man, are you another one of those 150's that are still wearing that eden crap? To be honest, you suck at your own expense, not another person's.

Stop trying to persuade game changes that fit to your benefit and make it even easier for people that have gears and access to anything they need. It's people like you that made this game so ridiculously easy.

You know, in Pre-renewal times when we broke our +8 Feather Berets going to +9, we did it again, and again and again until we hit +9 for various things. Did you know we used to break Glorious gear to stat enchant and upgrade? We didn't have this enriched hammer crap to give you guys free +9's and above, and we didn't have very many opportunities to get KVM badges outside of playing/farming KVM. And in Pre-renewal, there were still Champions that could one-shot with gfist. There were Sinx that could one-shot with sonic blow, and let's not forget the OP as hell converted grimtooth with high ASPD. Hell in pvp even Biochemists that could one-shot too depending on your health, and in woe just completely annihilate guilds/pre-casts/whatever with a Minstrel and Paladin. People like you complain over one single god damn class like it effects you to the point where you're unable to play or function on this game. I have yet to see anyone on here try and figure out ways to get around a certain Character's skills. Half of you who complain are those worthless people behind your crappy characters that can't even do anything on this game other than sit around complaining "BEWEWWEH THIS GAME R SO IMBALANCE SURAS SURAS SURAS GX GX GX GX NERF NERF THIS CAN'T PLAY HAS NO GEAR FJKLHUI$#EBCE" and the other half of you are just bad at doing anything to build your character or figuring out ways to counter the classes that scrubs like you call "OP."

99% of you guys are retarded and don't understand that the easier you make the game, the easier it is for those of us that are good at the game.
