*Players have to be within 15 levels to equal share
*you receive diminished EXP from mobs +11 levels or -31 levels from you
knowing that.. if you have
lvl 54 Assassin
lvl 39 Acolyte
both characters can share exp
now consider a particular mob
Sohee Lv. 64
The Assassin would receive Maximum Exp from the Sohee because of the exact 10 level difference
the Acolyte would be able to share in the EXP, BUT!!!
Would the Exp that the Acolyte receives be dimishished because the Sohee is 25 Levels above the Acolyte?
OR
Would the Exp that the Acolyte receives form sharing with the Assassin be a portion of what the assassin earns not considering the level difference of the mob as long as its within the assassin's range?
just something that was bugging me earlier

The Aco would receive exp based on his/her level relative to the monster, so they would suffer the penalty.

He's Correct.
Sohee gives 594 BASE exp and is level 64.
Therefor your level 39 Acolyte is 25 levels below it so only receives 60% of it's exp normally. If it were 1 level higher or Aco one level lower it would only get 35%
With a 2 Person party they each get 60% of the monsters exp so I believe your acolyte would only get 213 Exp for each of these the Sin kills.
594*60% = 356.4 (Rounded down to 356) Base to each party member then modified by level.
356*60% = 213.6 (for the Acolyte)
356*140% = 498.4 (For the Sin)
BY THE WAY, I think you may be under a mistaken impression. A character can hunt monsters 15 levels above them and still get 115% of the monsters exp. Basically if your sin was hunting Sohee, but Sohee was 5 levels higher he would get 683 exp per kill. At 16 Levels higher exp goes down to only 40% of monster exp. THE BEST is at +10 because you get 140% of normal. Exp and party link below.
