I'm sick of not being able to MVP on my AB.

I have interest in a warlock but I dunno if they can mvp...

I know sura/biochem is an obvious...

All classes can solo MVPs, just depends on gear, skills, stats, what MVPs you want to kill, etc.

Some kill faster than others, of course. Sura and Genetic are, as you said, the obvious choices, but I don't have much problem on my Royal Guard and I've been out-comped by GXes and RKs before.

by FAR the easiest to mvp with, acid bomb doesn't draw agro
Homunculus can serve as a tank
Acid Bomb deals more damage then a 99 champ can imagine!

also requires next to no skill, no real items, and only consumes acidbombs items and maybe some flywings

you dont need sp or even hp items usally!

To be more specific I meant which class mvps the most efficiently solo.
Ralis I think you're right that anyone can mvp, but also with certain classes that naturally have low HP I think it could just become a big pain. :0

if you have god items and the mvp its not ghost, the sura still beats the genetic

if its a ghost, the best choice its the gx with aspersio

Yes but ur spamming soooo much sp items, even ygg berrys. they are usless until 130+ and to really get the most out of a sura you need abyss knight cards and a supporting priest with lex

Solo... MVPS... genetic hands down, even as a biochem

Genetics camp most mvps, if your at a mvp grave, it will be a genetic next to you most of the time rather then anyother classes

my mvp sura, lvl 108 does 120k gfists, iv seen 160k acid bombs (from a bio chem aswell)

ralis i think you may be a little out of touch with players, not everyone has access to lvl 150 suras with goded equips.... genetic is by FAR the best mvpin char HANDS DOWN

the fact not a single mvp can move as fast as a genetic is a massive factor, the second is they get a homunculus which can tank for you while u bomb, then flywing, hell get a mercanary lvl 90 aswell so you can bomb a little longer.

suras seem like the ob choice, fact is that they are not, they are only good vs mvps you dont want to battle (valk)(ifrit.. maybe)

Depends on what you're doing exactly. Generally Genetic or Sura though. You can't tell anything with a level 108 sura, so low a level, you wonder why it sucks.

Unless things have seriously changed, Warlock generally has no business MVPing unless it's against ghost monsters, but even then, I'm pretty sure a nerfed RK would still be better.

No need to spam SP items if no one is comping you, you can just take a few second to Zen and Power Absorb. Even if you have to use a Yggberry, most MVPs have it as an MVP reward anyway so you'll be getting it back. =P

Definitely want to level before you MVP though... MVPing at 108 isn't too feasible, but I do around 600k with my 150 Sura.

If you don't have access to a 150 character, you shouldn't be MVPing then. It's really not that difficult with all the turnins to level something to 150 anymore. Take the time to do that, then MVP. I was MVPing tonight without God items as well. I do have above average gear, but even with a Morpheus set you'd be doing ~400k.

Warlocks can mvp, no doubt about it.
they just require more skill then a sura or biochem

usally mvpin with a warlock involves quagmire and stormgust (quagmire slowed movement speed allowing you to kite the mvp) Storm gust give knockbak so while they are been hit by it they cannon attack you.

as a whole, mvpin on a warlock hasnt really changed since i was a wizard. Id assume they could bring down ghost mvps and get mvp in a party situation

thats my point, you dont need a 150 to mvp as bio chem/ genetic

acid bomb is a powerful skill as is, it doesn't increase with you level
you add a lvl 99 homunculus and a lvl 90 mercenary as your solo tanks

you sitting at the back of 30k+ hp doing 60-100k per everyfew seconds, you can spam mercenary hp potions or recall homunculus, worse comes to worse you can tele. But usally the mvp is long since dead

Yeh, his AI wasnt every good, you could set it up to have your mercenary and or Homunculus to draw Argo then kite the MVP while u bomb it freely (just to keep them alive a lil longer)

MvPs cannot be knocked back so they can indeed attack you when you have a storm gust going off. They have copious amounts of MDEF, meaning you do damage on them. MvPing is entirely different from pre-renewal high wizards. Try to avoid posting false information all over the place.

I've been wanting to make a warlock but this thread is actually just making me want to level my biochemist LOL.
Seems like mage class requires a sort of acquired talent that other classes don't

How good are GX MvPers? I know crits with EDP can take out an MvP fast but they seem rather squishy and would get killed easily.

with current problem with Homunculus flee it so much sucks to rely on Homunc as tank now.

Abysmal Knight Helm
BFG+Isilla
Orleans robe(change for elemental depend on MvP)
Variant
Valk shield(race)
Elemental sword 3x AS


still need some gear but with this gear you can kill at least 40% mvps soloing

you cant afford wrong target, which always happened when solo where you attacked mob instead of actual MVP.
genetic - wrong target? just wait 1 sec for next cast.
