Hi guys,I have tested 100spear with Battle Hook and Hunting Spear(140ATK) which is the heaviest 1handed spear now(180ATK).
According to my tiny knowledge, 100spears will do more dmg with ligher weapon.
So I tried those 2 and with Hunting Spear I did 60k dmg on certain monsters with 160 strs and some buffs.
While with Battle Hook which is lighter I only does a bit more than half of Hunting Spear's dmg.
That made me so confused and I'm thinking about not buying Brocca and Gungnir anymore.
I need an advice please thanks

What was the monster? If it was a brute monster, then the def piercing property of hunting spear would explain the damage.

Based on new Hundred Spears damage formula, weapon weight do increase damage of Hundred Spears.

Why do ppl keep buying and selling Gungnir/Brocca and other light spears for high price? Any use of them for Hundred Spear?

Gungnir, no idea. But I know Broccas are used to make a Pile Bunker for Mechanics

Brocca is used to craft Pile Bunker, also known as "Pretty much the only weapon a Madomech will use. Ever."
