So they should buff it to make it a viable way to lvl and solo again.
Remove the kick back or something.
I mean comeon what would this hurt?

You want to bring it back? and yet you are asking for a buff? What's the challenge then?
if you want to bring it back then find a way yourself. Then we will aplaud you.

But taking that kickback away would make it a viable way to lvl that isn't agi...
Gc saders used to be where it's at, now just agi.

What will buffing it hurt?
It used be be like one of the strongest attacks prerenewal.
Now it's agi-vit-str-dex only...
Makes Alot of sense.

Though if it needs buff, the I guess they should remove the "fixed" damage you receive when you cast the skill.
Even wearing a Holy Armour, you still get that fix damage. So better remove it if it wants some updating.

Rather, if you want to see more grand cross crusaders, you're looking for a nerf to holy cross rather than a buff to grand cross.

Perhaps they could change the skill to be usable by a single RG if:
1. They are on the same screen as an AB in their party and if the RG is under the affect of a Lauda skill?
or
2. They are on the same screen as a Sura in their party and if the RG is under the affect of Revitalize?
Just a couple of ideas.

Monsters were buffed.
And it aready cuts def to 2/3 and does dmg to you.
That's not viable with monster updates.
And agi spear is 99% of crusaders- rg.

You're trying to compare apples and oranges. I don't get why so many people rush to compare various skills with one of the single most powerful skills in the game.
GFist is like an enormous supergun with a loooooong reload time, expensive and weighty ammunition (sp recov items), and it can only strike a single target at a time. It is not AoE, and it never was (nor will it ever be) a viable skill for leveling.

Do you remember things such as when knights leveled only at High Orcs or Bathories once they're past level 75 or so? Or when assassins only leveled at sleepers for 20 levels? At least renewal encourages people to go different places rather than grind on one or two types of monster for 25-30 levels and hundreds of hours. Granted, renewal has a little bit of that issue itself with Scarab grinding now. But I still think the game is a lot more enjoyable now than it was before.
I suppose it's a matter of perspective though...

You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. The relationship//balance between Guillotine Fist and Grand cross was identical pre-renewal. If you are wondering why nobody wants to party your grand cross build, refer to my first post.Monks can asura, crusaders gc, asura does more dmg, an dont hurt caster..

Even with Angeling you still take dmg..
It's not damage, the skill itself consumes a % of your current hp with each cast and that is different from the kickback damage which can be negated with angeling or piety skill
