Are you sure you're not seeing it the other way around? EB is the viable one, VP is wat.

Sorry, I play in Thor server. I rarely see any RG using EB. Mostly VP spam. I have read the guide and as they say B. guillotine is the best weapon for EB. My problem is i usually wear shield and HS seems to be the best weapon available for 1 hand spear (no MJO) but the damage is meh.. any suggestions to make my damage reasonable?

Woops nvm, it all makes sense now. To improve damage, Hammer/Megs. Otherwise just go with the B. Guillotine and lose the shield. Or don't play EB RG and try FS instead (you don't have to kill people to be useful).

I have it but since we have Defending Aura, I might still stick on my prev shields (Cross & Valk) still have to test in a variety of builds/situations, already updated this post yday.

It's full support, you can tank too if needed.  

 

It's good for pvm, pvp or mvp.

 

You get parties fairly easily until you hit 150 and have to go to bios and then good luck finding a party.

If woe without the temporal boots combo, Etran.

If wore with it, GFSS.

If with have a Tao, GFSS, even without the combo.

btw you can read Hayroh's EB guide in the first page to know which gear and status you should aimed for that build

coz he is obviously not using mjolnir for nocast EB.

There are lots of other non gods related overupgraded weapon could be involved in his video, which could explain his damage because there are lots of common weapons that already far surpassed mjolnir in terms of damage

 

Those damage can also contributed by 2 megingjards isn't it?

instant cast EB doesnt specifically relies on Mjolnir, it just make the task a whole lot easier. And as already said, you can't know what gears he uses as it is not shown. It could very well be using a Meg, or a Samurai carded Hunting Spear, etc. Besides, it's not hard to achieve that damage on EB with regular not much expensive stuff.

Do your homework in Sakray while it's been opened for public access and try to understand the skill and modifier that affect its damage

 

try all kind of buffs (foods, various consumables, etc) and test with and w/o MoT or SS for damage comparison with that adored player of yours in the above video.

 

also consider Thor got lots of smuggled stuff from pRO days which many of Chaos Renewal players even aware about that might contribute to its damage

What is BIS hg for VP Royal Guard at the moment.  White Eddga or Evil Marching?
