Do you really need AGI and INT as a GC EB RG?

Hi..
Probably a really dumb question..
I want to be a supportive/eb ground control RG in WoE but I don't really have access to gods or whatever.
What are my chances of hurting people with my gears? (I have Inspiration and have 120 luk for temporal boots)

Head = +9 CEB (Dark Pinguicula card)
Mid = BDM (maya purple)
low = pirate dagger
Weap = +9 Hunting spear (Aunoe card/FS7/Agi +1) that's what my budget could afford
Shield = +9 Valk/Rosa shield. (both with thara card)
Armour = +9 WOE plate (Marc Card)/+9 WOE plate (Porciello Card)
Garment = +9 Heroic Backpack (Petal Card)
Boots = +4 (+9 soon) Temporal Luk (FS7/Bear's power)
Accessories = Luk Gloves

Any chance or should I change what kind of RG I should be? I just enjoy Sac. people and pot shotting once in a while..

You can swap your valk/rosa-thara shield with imuke-thara/orc warrior for better survivability and less dependent on Defending Aura for tanking Range attack.

 

The rest is fine for EB gears, as for full tanking gears better bring WoE set gears and combat knife to switch accordingly depending on situations you're facing in WoE

 

You can also opt to use Bellum Guillotine for more massive EB damage in exchange of your survivability

 

If you aim for high-end EB gears, seek Chakri's Advice about "Eden Gears" or read Hayroh's and experimenting on real WoE situations

1. Why would Bellum Guillotine have better dmg than an Fatal Hunting Spear? (just curious)

2. I can't seem to find Chakri's eden gears advice thingie. do you have a link? I'm a bit technologically retarded

1. Look at its player damage modifier boost, base attack and its weight. It might perform lower on dorams though for now

I'm assuming you're getting Inspiration?

​You'll be left with 3rd class 10 skill points: (After getting the essentials e.g. CavalryMastery5, Bash10, Spear Quicken10, VP10, OB5 & CS5).

 

I suggest getting these two:
​Exceed Break 5
​Vanguard Force 5

​For my RG though, I skipped Exceed Break 5 cause i PVP once in awhile. I maxed out Reflect Shield instead.

those faw and temp boots are pretty much what you are aiming for(BP on the boots). If you have a hard time finding a wakwak ea10 faw, a menblatt one should do fine(or even better depending on how much atk vs ranged% you already have)

Do you want to max out your VP & CS damage? Get a EA 10 FAW.

Do you want to save zenny and have an all-in-one garment? Get a +9 HBP Wakwak (Vanishing Point & Overbrand).

​Take note that Canon Spear's base damage is about 80% STR dependent. So a Crimson Spear or a Wakwak barely do anything for this skill.

Bear's Power proc, Expert Archer enchants, Elemental bonuses, Imperial Spear's bonus and that Nightamre Biolab Hat are very good for Canon Spear.

​When you are one-on-one with an MVP, I suggest go for a Lucky Day. Because:

​* Vanishing Point (or any other targetted skill) are delayed by Eddga transformation.
​- If you are using any Latency-fix software or Windows 8/10, your VP spam will have pauses.
​- Windows 7 that has no Latency-fix applied enables you to spam VP with no pauses.

​If you wanna see what I'm talking about. Go watch Hayroh's VP spam and compare it to mine:

STR affects Cannon Spear formula, but you still need ATK to be multiplied by it. Crimson Spear is not bad, but easily outshined by Imperial Spear due to it's direct bonus to CS damage. However Wakwak will often be the best option for garment card over Menblatt, specially at earlier levels, where you would have minimal dex for menblatt, but would pick 120 str early on for both CS scaling and Temp Str boots bonus.

Hi its Keraunos[1] worth getting for a cheap alternative instead of the tattoes or are better accesories a that price point that are more worth the money. I have 180m for accesories

If you prioritize aspd over damage, pick horn of kirin as the alternative than keraunos, but if you prefer balanced damage and aspd bonuses then pick keraunos

Keraunos is better than bako unless you have other atk bonuses somewhere else. Keraunos can be slotted with g. Scaraba
