Has it always been this way? or is there meant to be a diffrent animation for each? if so where are they?

So i got the wind insignia skills on my Sorc and found that when i cast it, it uses a red animation of Ifrit.
Has it always been this way? or is there meant to be a diffrent animation for each? if so where are they?
