I found a pretty nifty program that can potentially help in game latency. I tried it and used it on top of the Disable TCP delay/Lag (Windows 7 Version) FIX.

Its pretty harmless & can be uninstalled very easily.

From Leatrix Website

What does it do?

Leatrix Latency Fix will reduce your online gaming latency significantly by increasing the frequency of TCP acknowledgements sent to the game server. For the technically minded, this is a program which will modify TCPAckFrequency.

You will see reduced latency in many online games including Star Wars, World of Warcraft, Rift, Aion, Warhammer, Lord of the Rings, and more.

System Requirements

Leatrix Latency Fix is supported on these operating systems only.
Windows 7
Windows Vista (SP1 or higher)
Windows XP (SP3)
Both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows are supported.
Macintosh users should read the guide here.

Leatrix Latency Fix is written in Visual Basic and requires Microsoft .Net Framework 4 to be installed on your computer (most modern computers will have this already). If you don't have Microsoft .Net Framework 4, you can download it from here.

AS ALWAYS, i advise getting your windows 7 up-to-date with the "windows update" program and have a virus installed. /gg

It actually does the same thing as disable TCP delay here

Based on http://www.leatrix.com/latencyfaq, it says

Does Leatrix Latency Fix do the same thing as the 'Optimise Network for Speed' setting in World of Warcraft?

  • No. The 'Optimise Network for Speed' setting modifies the TCPNoDelay function at the application level to allow data packets to be sent to the server more frequently.

Leatrix Latency Fix modifies the TCPAckFrequency function at the Windows level to force faster responses from the server.  They're two completely different things and can be used together.
