Cancel Valentines and Extend this? Why can we not have both?

Those saying "It has been long enough" are the ones with many characters in one account and were able to get it already.
Or they just don't like the quest and don't want to even see people who liked it doing it again.

Whats the point extending the Quest when the actual event that it is made for has completely end?
(ok, fyi Chinese New Year started on jan 23. And the tradition is to celebrate it for 15 days, that is ended on 6th feb(Lantern Festival))

Actually I'm pretty sure the Valentines Day quests will go in next week since that will be the day of valentines. There is one from Rutana (here) and one from kRO as far as I know.

took me 5 days to get +7 copper to +8 and get a silver.. I don't have time to go through the quest more than twice a day so I'm usually stuck doing it once a day on one character. If you can extend, that would be nice, As I have a character that I trans'd lastnight and due to login problems nearly all morning I'm not able to level to 60 in time to finish the quest.

I'll vote for an extension. I barely just got a Silver hat, and I don't have enough characters to +8 it in one day even with the best luck in the world

Most of us aren't about the actual celebration/event behind it, we just want Golden Dragonhelms.
But it was too hard to get without many chars in one acc with all the server issues, you know.
We had to skip some days of the quest because those DDOS attacks messed up quest timers and it would be too late to do it.
If only the timer started when you pick the quest instead of finishing...
By saying this I didn't mean to be rude, by the way, sorry if I couldn't find better words.

PS.: I double client on my 2 main accs with only 1 char over lv60 on each, on both I got my silver helms to +5 today.

That is what I was thinking too... Like how timers are in World of Warcraft, or cooldowns or whatever you call those.

I guess it is something unique to RO though. Although the timer thingy sometime is kinda annoying. Would like to have some sort of a daily reset for the timer instead.

"All quests done prior to x time will be reset tomorrow at this time". Something like that.

Sounds good but a 23h cooldown right when you start the quest is good enough.
You can pick it at a fixed time and do it whenever.
