yea pretty much 10% resistance to neutral is beyond better

yep just tested, backpack is better than everything.

yeah , but a lot of people just use their deviant nyd garments just to survive fists, so backpack help us way more than a nyd for that crazy suras ^^.

Eh figured this thread would start sooner or later. Just whine enough so the GM's buff nid and asprika to the point where they (at least asprika) are sexier than this! Nid garb isn't super hard to get so that one can stay as is honestly.

it can be better than a nyd garment, with all the bonuses.But who doesnt endow nowadays, Asprika is still the best defensive garment to be defaulted IMO. and then DR still for fist swap. So yeah it will be up to you to decide if u want to have more offensive bonuses or more survivability.

+12 Cat Ear Beret[1] > +20 Feather Beret, Black Frame Glasses[1] > Any mid headgear in game, +12 Immune Shield[1] > any in game shield, +9 Heroic Backpack[1] > Any Garment in game , 2x Kafra Blossom accessories > Any accessory card in game.

But wouldn't throwing a backpack in mess up sets?

I'm scratching my head thinking of how much stuff I'll need to sell and buy just to fit that backpack into my GX and ranger since all the set bonuses are effectively gone. Given that, I think the cost of a backpack when it's vendable is effectively much higher...
