I am afraid to send in a ticket on this due to response time, but one of my characters is unable to use the resetter. All she says is:
"You don't have a homunculus to start, you should take advantage of this event and get one and talk to me!"

the npc worked fine on my other chars o.o

I just tried deleting my homu and remaking it to see if that would get the npc to recognize that I have one and it did not work.

I'm having the same problem. The NPC doesn't recognize that I have a homunculus, even though I do. I tried relogging then Vaporizing and re-summoning it but still nothing.

BTW there was someone vending embryos next to the NPC. Does this mean we have to totally remake a new homunculus from a new embryo after registering with the reset NPC? and then get another Sage Stone too?

bump me and someone else on Ymir are infront of the NPC right now with the same problem as the op

Yep I got this too.

I deleted my old hom and made a new one myself and she still says I didn't have one to start
I also tried talking to her after deleting and before remaking and she said the same.

I talked to the NPC right after maintenance (not the emergency one). She asked me to type in "I will delete my Homunculus, and reset" as I had the homun out. Did you get that at all? Just wondering.

Afterwards, I deleted the homun and talked again. She said something about loyalty status on the 21st and 28th Maintaince and that my character is registred. My homun was +90 loyal/created pre-renewal and pre-merge if that matters.

Mine was neither pre-renewal or pre merge but it doesn't say anything about needing that in the patch notes
I hope I didn't delete my vani for nothing

I have the same problem on my Alchemist, he have an evolved, loyal Lif.

As I said in the original post, I was able to do the reset on 3 of my other chars. 2 alchemist, 1 Genetic. The problem lies with my 4th char, also a Genetic. On the ones that were successful, yes I was asked to type in the message. On the character the npc does not recognize my homu, she doesnt even give me the chance to type.

Wondering if they left out certain type of homun...?

It seems indeed not working.

Just tried on another genetic and the npc doesn't recognize the homun I have and claims I don't own one which is not true. The first homun I reseted through the npc was a vanil [jelly] evolved into dieter and was created and made loyal pre-renewal times [This was right after the main maintenance today]. The second homun is a loyal vanil [jelly] level 90-ish also created pre-renewal but the NPC acts like it doesn't exist.

Think something went wrong during the emergency maintenance?

I have two pre-Renewal homuns, both of which got me the "You don't have a homunculus" message. :<

Genetic had a blue Filir>Eleanor, Alchy had an evolved jelly Vani.

Sorry, when I said what kind, I also meant what style? (ie, jelly/fish vani vs slug/bug vani, bluebird vs chicken/vulture filir, green modest lif vs naked red lif, sheep vs pig amistr) - because I can imagine a test for homun-existence checking the type and forgetting about the alt types.

Jello Van (Bayeri) -> Failure -> Sent in a ticket, about to PM Oda, will be getting Jello Van again after remaking

Resetter says I dont even have an homunculus, she just ignored my lvl 95 jelly vani al Valk. By the way, noob question here, what is the reset good for? do stats get more balanced, are skills and/or flee getting fixed?
