Whoever designed the ranger job change test deserves more than just a tap on the nose.

Also, 30 seconds in the GM's language means 3 hours.

I believe there is a way to get around it. Has to do with kafra cards or something.

I did the ranger test back in 2010. Never shall I being doing it again either.

nvm, forgot about the kafra shop now being usable anywhere

I think I'll do that. There's nothing fun about this quest. Everything about it's design is just bad, from the fact that you have to dialogue naked or in eden gears on a map filled with hostile mobs, to the retarded poring game, to the plant maze with a Nephenes sneakily positioned in a spot where it's very hard to snipe at...and if you die while doing that 2nd part, you end up with an inventory full of crap and no way to get rid of it other than selling.

PLUS it takes 10k every time you want to go to turtle island.

yeah that ranger test sure is hard. by the way be careful with the second test, because if you die, you start at square one again, killing porings....oh and if you know how to use a mercenary you're good to go for the 3rd test.

...took me around 6-7 hours to finally pass all 3 and become ranger...

oh and watch out for closed confine on 2nd test. don't release a bomb to just get locked the next second and die with the explosion xP

so when a GM says 30seconds to restart server they really mean 30minutes minimal, u guys seriously need to learn the language of a GM and sorry there is no Rosetta stone for it =P

I wouldnt of been able to pass my job change without cheating That Poring thing took me about 8 hours to pass... I ended up having sticky notes all around my screen telling me where to look and when XD
