Monster AGI UP Skill is probably the most annoying skill there is after Dark Blessing.
Whenever a MVP uses AGI up any attack dependent on HIT is completely useless, it's quite annoying. I understand some MVP's are meant to be this way, but AGI UP is poping up as much as Earthquake now and making it completely impossible for a non-Sura/Genetic class to compete at all.

AGI Triple's the flee of these MVP's. (They usualy have 450 flee average)

Are there ways for a HIT dependant class/build to counter AGI UP? It doesn't look like Quagmire (punk card) dispel agi up like it does on players.

Dispel should work to cancel out their MVP Agi Up though. Give it a try. I don't know if it's been changed since the Balance Patch.

Then you could do it with hit-dependent classes without a sorc!
That's the whole point of giving those MVPs that skill. The point of MVP AgiUp is to require you to have a way to bypass flee or take down buffs in order to kill the MVP.

Also, dispel scrolls would be really OP in PVP/WoE.

Or just use a Sura/Genetic and kill it anyways without anyone else, if Dispel if the only way to get rid of it guess I'll just level a Sura and kill them the boring way =/

The point of an MVP is to kill it w/ a party, mvps are not meant to be soloed... if u work as a team, you'll bring it down no problem.

I don't believe dispell is working. Ive tried dispelling mistress with my sorc ,  it changes target but the agi up is still there

Try using Agi Down on it. I think the Horse Head still give the ability to cast Agi Down.

agi down never worked in the past it certainly does not now.

Agi-down does not work on MVPs, not even to remove their agi. This would be way too easy.

Try using Quagmire.It'll reduce it's agi by 50% or 50 whichever is lower.

If Agi Up still follows pre-renewal mechanics then it simply doubles flee and movement speed after including flee reductions like quagmire(so quagmire will reduce flee by 100).

I swear you're supposed to be able to dispell mvp agiup. I'm almost certain we used to do that...

i tested it with level 5 dispell and i was dispelling it a zillion times

just to have the ranger be able to kill it. i could killl the fking thing with other skills but i wanted the ranger who was on gum to kill it.

maybe they should just deal with the fact that suras and genetics will always be dealing final blows with the current system and remove all those "annoyances" that make it horrible for the other classes.

just forget it. the rule of thumb, if you are not a gene, u are not getting the mvp.

 

and i remember dispel didnt work on mvp when i tried doing that recently. I cant remember if it used to work on mvp or not, tho....

depends on the class you are trying to kill with. If you are a GX, gotta go crit, if you are a RK (assuming you don't have DB) or RG, use a gungnir[2] with at least one mummy card in it and a shield with an ancient mummy card. mummy + ancient mummy combo on a gungnir lets you hit agi uped MVPs a decent amount of the time but prepare to take a lot of damage if/when they power up.

 

My RG has successfully soloed 10 out 17 of the MVPs you have listed there using the mummy gungnir + ancient mummy combo

 

For ranger I think if you can hitlock the MVP into a state where it can't attack you it won't agi up. This might work for a bow stalkers too I suppose but you will need at least 190ish attack speed.

 

It's rather sad MVPing hasn't changed much if at all since pre renewal, Biochems and Champs always got the MVPs and everyone else just had to suck it. But there really isn't any point in whining since RO rarely ever "nerfs" anything and when they do it's usually something that never really needed a nerf.
